no tuition for me today..my student went to malacca for a family-related matter..so i just slack at home today..well nt really slack la..i studied a bit for my test n did the sample test qns..barely got the first 25 qns rite, so i stopped doing it..haha dats depressing enuf.. i just realised i got some concepts wrong..when i studied for it, i thot i got everything all figured out, until i did the test qns..lucky i found out my mistake before the test..gotta do well for the test cos dis module is non-examinable..so the grades im getting for those two tests will determine if i pass or fail the module at the end of the semester..
anw i told my dad i wanna buy a car..haha i noe, wat a thing to say when i barely have enough savings..hehe here's how the topic started:
dad: nanti kalau dah keje, jgn luper every mth kasi ayah $500, ibu $500..
me: wah duh..kasi $200 je bole? alah, org nak save duit ah..nak beli benda
dad: nak beli ape lagi..watever u wanted, ayah dah belikan ape
me: ehh, bedek seh..ade benda yg org nak, ayah tak belikan
dad: nak beli ape? kereta?
me: a ah la..
dad: nak beli kereta kene ade at least $10K utk downpayment tau..if tak bayar dwnpayment, teruk nanti kene bayar bulan2
me: org tau la..sebab tu nak kene save $
dad: proton ade model baru tau
me: tau..proton savvy kan? cute eh kereta dia..
dad: tapi malaysian made..org tgk pon tak pandang dua kali..
me: ler, asalkan bole bergerak dah bagus tu..
dad: kalau gitu, beli kereta lembu pon bole..(dats where i got my sarcastic nature fr..my own dad! haha)
me: kereta lembu tak leh jln kat road..
dad: nak beli kereta, beli yg 'baik' nye sikit ah
me: suzuki swift hatchback ok?
dad: ahh..tu ok
me: tapi mahal seh, around $55K
dad: of coz ah..japanese-made cars mmg mahal..in terms of quality, its better
me: hmm..tgk la eh mcm mane
so now, at least my dad knows that i intend to get a car..and im glad he supported my decision..mane tau, kalau nasib baik, he wanna sponsor me the downpayment..haha but then, takde satisfaction ah if like that..i wanna pay for the car myself..with my own titik peluh..cehh, like real only..haha
and anw, i noe my dad wasnt serious abt the 500 bucks per mth tu..he ckp je, nanti biler org nak kasi betul2, he said no need..i noe my dad so well..haha
